From today we have our own blog where we can keep you up to date about our free collection and delivery ironing service, which includes washing, ironing and dry cleaning.
Not many of you will remember the "Good old days", when stay at home housewives had special days for each domestic task, and Monday was washday. Rain, hail or snow, washing hung around the home, usually in front of an open fire, steaming up the windows and causing chaos. The late, great comedian Les Dawson recalled how the women of Collyhurst, near Manchester, insisted on hanging out their clean laundry, strung out across the back lanes, in spite of the coalman delivering by lorry every Monday !
So, whatever your point of view about things changing for the better, or worse, life has certainly got easier with automatic washing machines and dryers. Iron maids was established to make it even easier for busy households and businesses.
Since we have been established, our domestic and commercial laundry and ironing services have expanded. From August we are now covering the Ashford area which now means we cover a large area from Lenham to Tenterden and all ports in between.
All of these domestic services still boast a two working day turn around and we look forward to welcoming more businesses to our commercial enterprise, which covers restaurants, small hotels, events companies and bakeries. (Remember, recommend us and earn yourself a 10% discount!)
With Christmas on the way we're here to give you a quick turn around for your restaurant, outside catering events and general seasonal rush. We can take some of the strain out of the day to day running of busy companies, and we will try extremely hard to fit our services around your time restrictions.
